Leggy, I fear we'll be competing with Everton for the most kickoffs this evening... PtB - agreed |

I didn't even know who was meant by that reference, I had to check the fixtures. Not good. |

Blimey, it was a joke. I give up. I get annihilated week-in week-out. That's me out of here for good. Enjoy. |

If you don't understand why it's hurtful and homophobic - please don't leave, just take this as an opportunity to learn more about it. Chances are very high someone gay read your post. Chances are absolutely 100% someone gay has to listen to every singele example of homophobic chanting in a football ground. We've all made mistakes, and we can all do better. skysports.com liverpooloffside.sbnation.com |

Should Everton best Liverpool tonight that will mean that Norwich will have the longest unbeaten run in English football against their local rivals. So COME ON EVERTON!!!! |

Is that in games or years gcwenn? One of my pet hates is the abuse of statistics by commentators/pundits by selectively choosing parameters. For example, X Town are unbeaten for 12 years against Y United, when they have only met twice since then and of course they lost 12 years ago. |

Yep - I thought a lot of the point about racism/sexim/homophobia is that none of us are perfect, all of us could do better and it's better it's pointed out politely than a social media pile-on. It's about self-reflection, not tantrums.

Yes, disappointing that FR didn't just say 'yes, sorry folks, kind of slipped out - thanks for the reminder' rather than flounce. These terms have been used for years in relation to certain clubs (think the Y word for Spurs), and I would assume most - certainly in these parts - say it more out of unthinking habit than any underlying racism/homophobia and would appreciate any feedback. |
