Well I enjoyed the Merseyside Derby. Rafa can stay, maybe the Gray goal bought him some time.

I have seen the penalty from last night and it was soft in the extreme. Kent was going down anticipating contact. Porter us then withdrew his challenge and the minimal contact was Kent on porteous as he went down

Hearts turn to be annoyed tonight with a clear offside goal being allowed. Not even close

Absolutely Baz, if it had been at the other end it wouldn't have been given.

Actually got to see the Villa/City game as a friend of mine has a Villa season ticket that he loaned to me. The two City goals were both crackers but it is only after seeing them replayed today on t'internet that I can appreciate how special they both were.

I thought that the Villa fans were quite subdued all through the game.

Proper Poch era goal for Spurs’ second tonight. Quick ball out of defence, great run & cross from Reguilon, Son made it look like an easy tap-in.

The volley with the outside of his boot (Bernardo Silva's goal) was something special - from a truly excellent assist too.

Errm, West Ham. Can usually be relied upon to be down quicker than the decorations after Christmas, but this time I’m worried.

Injuries piling up, relentless fixtures midweek and Moyes demanding a high energy game: we will drift away after Xmas.

But the traditional West Ham post Xmas slump sees us go from top 10 ish to a late season relegation scrap. This one will see us drift out of the top 4/5 and end up 8th-10th ish. Still a good season for us.

Brighton equalising again in late into injury time. 8 minutes of added time seems a lot

West Ham looked really good from what I saw today.

In no particular order

City, Liverpool, Chelsea top 3

Man Utd, Arsenal, West Ham for 4-6

Spurs, Leicester for 7-8

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
