Savage and Sutton, what a combo.
Just cause you played the game doesn't equate to being able to provide eloquent thoughtful insight.

Been in the Canaries (not the Norwich sort) for the last week, don't appear to have missed anything much.
I gather that Ole (I've heard that word a few times this week) is now the bus driver for United, so that he is still at the wheel?
With reference to supporting local teams, I have always said that the possible teams that you can support should be put on your birth certificate, say the nearest 4 as the crow flies. However, I am willing to make a concession and make it any of the 4 teams or any other team below all of them in the league pyramid structure.

Chrisity: that birth certificate qualification would need some, err, qualification. My daughter was born in Essex so maybe qualifies for West Ham, Southend, etc but due to having 2 parents and 4 grandparents from Leicester she's in the Blue Army and always will be. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
I still think that my boys being Plastic Mancs is my greatest failure as a parent.

I have always said the only reason you should support a football team is 1. You come from there 2. You have family connections there 3. You have moved there My sons were born in Cornwall and bleed yellow and green I live just outside of Macclesfield hence me supporting Norwich, but also watching and supporting Macclesfield FC (owned my Robbie Savage!!!)

Using the Chrisity rule I'm pleased to say QPR being my team is valid as third nearest, Watford and Wycombe being the nearer two.

Nearest 4 clubs to my place of birth are (I think) Forest, Notts County, Leicester and Coventry, with Derby a close 5th, so not really a choice at all.
Actually the maternity hospital I was born in overlooked Filbert Street. You could actually see one end of the pitch from some rooms.
