You were obviously at a Posh uni Stumpi, I'd never heard of Pernod then ! (what do you expect from a Uni full of so called "fit" people)

Ahh yes, I believe my colleguev was good at the chundwe mile, maybe u no David miles uncle?

Don't think the purple onion is still around, never heard of it, where is/ was it?

the purple onion was the burger cafe up by Telford/Cayley/Rutherford halls next to the radio studios... up the big steps by the all weather (now the English cricket academy buildings)

The Purple Onion suffered a fire a couple of years ago loughboroughecho.net haven't been past recently but think a 'new' shop opened.

And loving the suggestion of track events!

well, at least that time the burgers were cooked thoroughly.... I wonder if they call the new one something else, like "The fried onion" instead?

Track events can be done. :)

There is a bit of a track there, I believe.

Now, I'll try to get the bookings open this week. We need a number of people to sign up definitely so that I can pay a deposit soon....

In summary:

Running (a race, proper course and all that), a bit of running-related stuff like maybe lectures, coaching sessions, physios, a nice dinner, a shedload of isotonic shandy and maybe a dance off and a bit of bare knuckle boxing, bedtime, then some gentler running-based activities the following morning, then maybe lunch.
