Oh it gets worse, even after squishing a few bugs Iā€™m actually down to 1,100 odd points! Still the only way is hopefully up!

just managed to break the 10K barrier. My highest ever score is 16K but it might take some effort to get back up there. I'd really like the 20K badge...

In fairness, I think the 15k and 20k badges were added sometime after the 10k and 25k ones when it became apparent how hard it was to bridge the gap between the original two. If you had the 25k one already, it's easy to see how you'd have overlooked the other two being awarded retrospectively.

yep, that ^

I gave up trying to get the 25K badge but when the 20K appears it has given me a gimmer of hope. Now to gain 10K more points. Any ideas?

1) The scoreboard and markers don't 'reset' on the first of the month any more. They work on a rolling 30 day system.
2) You only need to worry about red bugs.
