😂 Great photo thanks Snail It will have been hammered by wind & kite surfers today. Flatlander, yes, swimmable if tide is high, slack, also maybe walkable if very low. But it looks to be over the tidal channel for The Fleet

When cycling back from yoga this morning, my Garmin gave me a message "Low battery" and then shut down a minute later - just as I was about to enter the circle of my Fetchpoint bug! However, when I got home and put the Garmin on to charge it showed 41% battery power!!!!!! Had I squished my bug? Yes, by just a few metres.

I went for a trip to Southampton today, checked out the FP map and happened to spot the Higgs Bosun. It was inside the gates of the docks on a roundabout. The man in the box wouldn't let me go the last 20 yards to get it.

I restarted my watch after I moved on and thought I'd plot a little extra route to get it as it was actually inaccessible but was pleased to see that I was actually nearer than I thought and got the thing anyway.
That's the second time I've managed to get it now.

Did you give your GPS watch to the gateman and ask him to run 20 yards to the HB for you?
