Sign up and choose a home point and you'll get a circle around that home point, ITG. About a mile radius, I think. Your bug and the jewels will always be placed in that circle.

When you set a home point, it creates a circle around it of 1 mile radius - similar to the grid idea in WSW

ok, but I need to go OUTSIDE the circle to get points?
I don't want to sign up just yet because I've got an ankle sprain and a marathon on 15th August so I need to rest and taper, except I really want to get out there so I'm doing the next best thing: planning getting out there!

You need to go over your bug and outside the circle during the same activity to get points for clearing your bug (which is important because when you finish a day with a bug-free circle you get 200 bonus points) but you can collect jewels and own traffic lights without going outside your circle.

Not quite ITG - you'll get points for picking up anything inside your circle just by passing over them.
However, the only way to kill your bugs is to run or ride over them as part of an activity that also goes outside your circle (doesn't matter whether you metaphorically pick them up on your way out or throw them over your shoulder on the way back). If your circle is free of bugs at the end of the day, you gain a 200 point bonus.

ITG you get points for everything you find in the circle. You only need to leave the circle to squish a red bug that you find before or after leaving circle red bug clearance is 204 points a day. All other jewels 💎 you get the points if you stay in circle. To plant flowers you need to be out of your circle and other peeps circles but your ok on the last point

ITG. Go get those badges. Make sure you get all your bugs, every day. If you do this for 30 days you will get 4 badges minimum but probably 8 [4 for bug clearance and 4 for scores to 10K]

I've been back playing 14 days. I don't have much activity locally so not many icons, jewels etc. But less chance someone to infect my bugs or make me pay a traffic light penalty
That will change now I've said it. Working now on my badges next up is a 5000 points badge (I think) and just got 10 bug bonus badge currently on 11 hopefully 12 later today
