Well done night-owl and kstuart!

I'm getting tantalisingly close (well closest I've been in a very long time!) To a 10k score... That's motivating me to get out and squish everyday, and go in search of shiny objects in my circle ๐Ÿ˜

Two nights on the trot I've dreamt about the ring now, anyone planning on moving it? I've no more plans (for now!) ๐Ÿ˜

Lol @ BEm! No plans but itโ€™s close enough that I might if itโ€™s still there in a few days :-)

Lol yes i am about to walk to work in a loop to get todays bug and then wiggle thru the science park to get both the diamonds to score boost. Annoyingly i have some highish daily scores about to drop off.

When i get back later and log it i'll be over 9300 espcially if i find time to go over any other clusters on the homeward walk

Iโ€™ve been tempted in the past to create a fictional fetchie who would live within a mile of me and log the occasional walk just for the bugs to infect and traffic lights etc. It can be lonely sometimes ๐Ÿ˜‚

There's a parish machine where you live, isn't there, VJ? As you know, I used to live there too. You could advertise Fetchpoint (I mean FetchEveryone) in that. It might work. Organise a jog to the pub or something. Not necessarily the pub there. It doesn't open somedays, of course.

We had a slightly surreal discussion about creating a handful of fake IDs that we could misuse for Fetchpoint purposes for a couple of months, but decided that keeping track of them and putting "their" sessions into our own training logs when we deleted the IDs would be too complicated for our little brains. [Note to Fetch: E.C.N. and Crummock are not us in disguise.]

Had another bit of bug clearance during my run this morning and I've now only got 5 remaining. Once is bikeable so that should go tomorrow or Sunday. The other 4 are grouped in an area which is accessible but not somewhere I usually run (a scrubby wooded area with bad paths and far too many dog-walkers, along with a couple of big posh houses that don't like people running perfectly legally through what they think of as their bit of the world.

It's also an area that doesn't lead anywhere. It's bounded on 2 sides by a railway and a dual carriageway, both well within the circle, so I have to go in, run round and collect bugs, then run back out, then go somewhere to get out of the circle. For 4 bugs that might be worth it. For a single it's definitely not.

Is it considered cheating to use the Fetch app and take a slightly circuitous route when walking to a friends house this evening to collect the unclaimed traffic light that's not quite on the way?

Actually, does the Fetch app still work?
