Triplet Dad
Count me in - but for healthy eating/portion control/moving more rather than dieting.
Back to work tomorrow so once I'm in a routine it will be easier for me to watch my intake and get out for regular runs/walks.
I'm starting at 14.12, the heaviest I've been for a while - my goal is to set smaller targets, e.g. 14.9, 14.6 etc with a long term goal of getting back to a healthy BMI - long way to go just now but small steps is the way forward.

I am the same TD, going for more healthy eating and acceptable portion sizes rather than calorie counting/dieting as I don't find that works for us.
Not today though, today we have been using up all the unhealthy food left from Christmas/New Year. Pringles anyone?

Does anyone have a good graphic for portion sizes that is uk based? - I have googled unsuccessfully and only found - hockey puck sized portion type descriptions!

I don't believe in dieting
Tomsmum - your hand is supposed to be a good guide to portion sizes. Your palm (with fingers) is the amount of protein you should have, your clenched fist is the size of your starchy food, and as much green veggies as you can fit on your plate.
Has the advantage of bigger portions for bigger people

good going folks
I have also managed to rein things in today "Ran" into work - 2.5 miles and didn't eat my planned breakfast/elevensies as was too busy. Simple beef salad for lunch and am now waiting for dinner to cook - cod, veg and a handful of sweet potato "fries".
There is an open bottle of white wine in the fridge that needs drinking - that's my treat for the day, I hope it doesn't lead to anything unplanned!

OH is thinking about giving up sugar for a month. I will attempt to join him if he does. Alone I have no chance but together I think I could make it
