So on a whim I ran to the fell race. Mistake. It was hilly muddy windy. I mistook a small puddle for a muddy boggy hole of shame and face planted at about half way. Good job it was soft. No damage. Shoddy downhill running technique...but pretty good effort over all. Prize a bottle of beer 😆.
Walked home. I think about 18 miles in all...total, overall maybe 74 miles will check....

had similar incident during todays off roader WS - slipped on some med (there was *lots*!) and smacked my elbow on a tree root very painful for a few mins and I had to stop a few times to wash the mud out of it and stop the blood flow I may have chugged down the odd cup of mulled wine at the finish while the medic cleaned it properly overall it was fun though
final total of 74.8 miles = 120k
Thanks for the idea Greppers, its certainly made me get out more over xmas/new year

22 miles on the bike done, bringing me up to 86 miles. I didn't make the 100 but I think it is safe to say that I did a lot more than I otherwise would have done - so many thanks for organising the challenge Greg.
