Just listened to last week's and it's made me Loved the whole bee thing - those bees are definitely 'yours', Katie Your joy in being able to swim again is almost palpable, Katie - and the weather is just perfect for it, isn't it? One of my friends who is a triathlete returning from a nasty knee injury was also down at Box End enjoying being able to swim again and I wanted to ask him whether he'd seen you - because of course he would have know exactly who you were! Great to hear The Scribbler and Linds again. Linds - you've almost convinced me that I ought to try a bootcamp ..... |

In running there's less of a drafting effect, but in races it def helps a bit physically, but even more psychologically, I find. What I've done in races is tried to wheeze a quick "I'm gonna try and stay with you for a bit, hope that's OK". Most folk are usually OK with it, or even actively encouraging. If someone's a bit "errr" then I'd take that as not welcome and I'd drift off. Don't know what etiquette is in cycling (or swimming) cos I don't really do them, soz! G |

Oh, loving the podcast as always. And from the bedroom conjures up all sort of images! But the sound quality was really good! G

Well done Elsie with the garden running (and getting fam to do it too!) Enjoyed Heavy Metal Truants interview - I stuck a wee donation in their fundraising page. Assume this is right one?! It's the one from the link in the sidebar (thanks) my.race-nation.co.uk |
