Having some Broughton's Santa's Stout. Coffee oatmeal stout. Reasonable. As Morrison's had marked it down to £1 a bottle I thought I should try it. Not as good as the Mud City stout mentioned above.

Incidentally, Morrison's have marked down a bunch of other Christmassy/gifty stuff already so if you need baubles or miniature air hockey, that's the place to go.

Not a fan of christmas-upped spiced beer. I do like proper winter beers and old ales. See very few old ales these days.

List coming soon.

Not sure if these count as Real Ale, but cooling in my fridge for consumption over Christmas/New Year are

1 x Newcastle Brown Ale
1 x Bath Ales Gem
1 x Bath Ales Dark Side
1 X Bath Ales Wild Hare
4 for £5 in ASDA yesterday.

If I put my dark beers outside they'd be colder than the lagers in my fridge.

I have put my cider and lager in the snow before :-).

Have had a few Bootwarmers in McMullen houses of this parish recently. Not christmassed up , spiced or fannied about with but a lovely 5.2 drop of beer.

Had some Adnams Shingle Shells, a red ale, it was ok, but happily swapped for Woodfordes Wherry even though it's from north of the border.
