JogWalker, those rooks and castles can be confusing, but the biggest difficulty I have is working out which is the light-square bishop and which is the dark-square bishop when I'm setting up the board.

Having removed myself from league and expecting to play more short form the reality is I'm not playing much at all however, 2 random longer format challenges came in over the weekend and I won them both.
Maybe I was more relaxed, maybe they were shit but it was nice to win a game that wasn't 5 or 10 mins long.
Both reports on my move choices were OK with no lucky escapes. More importantly only 1 blunder over 2 full games.
