Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I just got new specs too and had a real mare in them the first week. Change to verifocal prescription and smaller frames. Same as you it is all in the position of them

Cost a bloody fortune don’t they

Today I did
- a 5k run/walk/splosh

Rest of day
- row session
- more water than wine
- chill

Fru yes, yes and yes! And thank you for your re-assurance. I was panicking... I have my old ones on as I have been outside gardening but will swap to the new ones once I know I am staying inside. A gradual approach me thinks!

I tend to use the moan o meter with new specs

Week one is moan moan moan.. if you notice you moan less in week two then the specs probably ok. I only moaned once this week. And moved them down my nose a teeny bit!

Wore the new glasses for half the day.
Ate within my window.
No gluten consumed.
Need to drink more...
Bed by 10.30...

With a bit of luck I manage a full did...

Well that week disappeared!

I did
-16 miles run/walk total this week
- fasted successfully all week
- one good static row session

I can
- drink more water
- keep running
- be mindful of what I eat in the eating window!

Yes, it did...
I am doing the housework like a good one...
I tend to leave it in favour of other things, like gardening, but one of my cans is to do it every Saturday morning...
So that is one DID!

I haven't been drinking enough water, so onto that too.
I am also onto food. It hasn't been great, not helped by having gone gluten free and not feeling motivated :(
Not much produce in the garden and that what is there is rotting away 😩
Rescued some carrots and half a beetroot for a lunch time salad.
