It's ok if they have a website for booking but phoning then waiting for a return call is a bit inconvenient. We struck lucky with a week at Keswick last January - our week fell between two amber warning weeks. We've decided only to book last minute when we go again.

Walk the west Highland way that runs both ways past the site. Cycle to Balmaha for a nice bar. Walks at conic hill. Drymen was nice for cafes and bars. Bird of prey centre at balloch was ace. You get a discount with one of the Caravan club memberships, but it's cheap without that anyway.
