Camped at Knockhill at the weekend for the touring cars championship. Cracking weekend.
Also got my new screen covers for my birthday on the Sunday.

Mr S has just suggested a week on Skye in the van in late September
We’ll be looking for quieter sites and wild camping as it will be a photography lead trip, so early mornings and late evenings.
Any recommendations?

Glenbrittle campsite is right on the beach and is a nice location. We swim there but have never stayed over. I expect it’ll probably be quiet at the end of September.

I think there’s a Camping and Caravanning Club site at the top end of the island. Not been that far up though so can’t be any help. Sorry.

Thanks AC - anywhere there’s a chance I can swim is a real bonus.

Evening all
For those of you who use sites and like to avoid children we are staying Gaerhyfryd Caravan Site near Corwen. It isn't a no kids site(we have a 7year old) but has no park or crazy entertainment.
The hookup points have water and electricity and management is helpful but not intrusive.
Also lots to do in the area.
I'm camping for 3 nights, I hate camping however the boy loves it.
