Annecy is wonderful, XB 
We haven’t made any plans for next year yet but we are spending this coming weekend on a site in the middle of Warwick Racecourse (where there is also a parkrun)

We stayed in the “free” campsite just around the corner. You have to pay for parking and you need to get the council man to open the barrier if you are above 2m high.
Both spots are good with easy access to town.

I know where you mean, XB. Warwick's only about 12 miles away from us but we're meeting friends there and you don't have to go far to have a break, do you?

Family stuff. MiL is in a home in Warwick and her USA based daughter is over here. There’s a lunch arranged for Sunday where we’ll all pretend we like each other! (To be fair, it’s not that bad but I am hoping for a positive LFT)

I'd be interested in any opinions here. There is no overnight parking allowed in the Forestry Scotland car parks any more. I am honestly going to the car park on Saturday and returning on Sunday morning.
I asked them to clarify what time you must leave/arrive in order not to fall foul of their rules and they said "The tickets issued for pay and display parking in our charged forests are valid until midnight on that day therefore I would advise that you can visit until this time however as long as you do not stay overnight." No word about what time you can arrive in the morning though.
Should I just stay or would you be tempted to move on and return first thing?
To be clear, I do intend to arrive on Saturday and cycle until dusk, then return on Sunday morning after breakfast and go back up the trails.

To be honest, I don't think I will stay, as much as I would like to. I do have another spot in mind. I've just got a bee in my bonnet about the "no overnight parking" rule with no information about what would be considered overnight... Also, on the parking ticket machine it says "parking charges apply 24 hours per day."
