Our friends M1nty and Jul1a did this in their van a few years ago. I'm not sure if they follow this thread, might be worth an fmail?

I think someone in our cycling group said it was going near Calais next year - if that's true we are planning on going over on a ferry on the bikes and riding to watch the stage 😁

Yes, the stages near to Calais are jumping out, just because we will be going Dover-Calais on the ferry. So that is stages 4, 5 and 6. Stage 5 I am presuming will be busy, as it is already tipped to be a key stage and is on the cobbles, although over on the Pro Cycling thread there is some info about what to do for this stage. Possibly stage 7, but that goes up Planche des Belles Filles, which is a bit of an iconic climb, so could be busy I suppose.

We've ordered a van. Due for delivery in Jan/Feb. Hoping to get lots of time away in 2022. The state will, theporetically pay me a pension from April 2022, so hoping to get some time away.

We've had an update from our dealer. Our original pick up date of last Friday has passed but they have been told by Elddis to expect it towards the end of November, so we are looking at mid-December now.

Very exciting Helengant - what are you getting?

GM, really hope it arrives this time, so very frustrating.

We are looking at going away this weekend for our first trip in the caravan - just to decide where, dont want to go top far
