Fragile Do Not Bend
I saw a pair of goldcrests in my garden in late Feb last year but they were just passing through, it seems. I keep looking out for some now it's February again but nothing so far.

D2 this one was by the path alongside the Carsington by pass but there are numerous patches of pine spread around the res and the surrounding land. It's definitely worth a wander round there at the moment. Lots of duck present, 40+ Snipe that conveniently line themselves up opposite the Wildlife Centre by the car park, a Great Northern Diver, assorted waders and i'm told a Cetti Warbler on Stones Island but i've not located it so far. Plus a plethora of Tits (there is one feeder where a two minute stop usually means i see Great, Blue, long tailed, coal and willow altogether) finches, Robins, thrushes and wrens. Morning runs in particular are a real pleasure at the moment. :-)
