Always amazes me how you can hear a skylark yet to spot the little blighter! A rather dull bird with a lovely song.

Staying at my parents ' in Devon, very jealous as they have four long tailed tits as regulars on their feeders, beautiful little birds. Also they have two Robins, quite often feeding together, isn't that a recipe for all out war?

At this time of year, two robins feeding together is a recipe for heart and maybe baby robins later on :-)

Skylarks singing above Cambridgeshire farmland this lunch time :-)

The sizeable flocks of starlings and corvids show that Winter isn't quite done with us yet though...

I saw a red kite as I was driving to Reading this morning for TBC7 then saw a couple of Egyptian geese on the Thames as we were trotting round - I'd never heard of them before. :)
