Nice neighbour jacdaw! 29 species on my BBS (urban site) count this morning. Best was a Reed Warbler but there were some notable absentees-- no Swallows, no Song Thrush, no Chiffs on what was a very murky overcast couple of hours. So no running this morning!

We were both awake at 4am and opened the bedroom window to hear jackdaws, great tits, blackbirds and also a squeaky passing group of oystercatchers

Our garden today has seen, currently, 15 bird species. Starling, woodpigeon, blackbird, Bullfinch, Coal tit, Great tit, Sparrow, Chaffinch, Magpie, Goldfinch, Robin, Pied Wagtail, Blue tit, Greenfinch and Dunnock. |

Including birds passing above, I had 3 Buzzards, 2 Jays, 2 Goldfinches, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Green Woodpecker, Magpies, Woodpigeons, Blue Tit feeding one of its young, Nuthatch, Long Tailed Tits, Black Headed Gull, Jackdaw, Crow, Blackbird and Dunnock yesterday morning. Then a lot of rain.
