My BIL used to work on rigs. The most significant sight he reported was a dead sheep floating past, over 50 miles from shore. He reckoned it fell off a ship.

Had a Halloween-esque run tonight. As well as at least 3 vocal owls, I was treated to a bat, newt, frog, beetle and plenty of slugs. It was akin to a witch’s recipe book!!
