Saw a redwing down in Norfolk last week. Not seen any up here this week, and not many all winter compared to usual.
Getting a few waders up on the moors, including what I think was a fleeting glimpse of a common sand around the edge of a res on Tuesday's run.

Does seem a bit but we do seem to get them quite early around here. Saw it mainly in flight, low and fast over the water, dark, with a distinctive wing bar. I'm not 100%, but if it wasn't I have no idea what it was (not that unusual!) unless I claim spotted sand 🤣

We filled the bird feeder up at the house we’re staying in this week earlier today. Within 2 hours a sparrowhawk was flying through making alarm calls sound.
Then we got double dippers by the river.

A group of at least 8 red kite seen on my run today, haven't seen more than three or four here before but they were flying the thermals over me for ages - wish I had a proper camera on me rather than my phone
we used to have lots of buzzard, the kites are relatively new and I haven't seen a buzzard for a while.

We walked home late tonight and saw a badger. I have seen Facebook posts locally that they are about, but never got to see one on our street before.

We have a few in the lane but because our sitting room is out the back we never see them. Do hear growling though which I assume is the.
