Gorgeous sight of a kestrel hovering over a field on our bike ride today. The bike path is raised up so it was at eye level and only a couple of metres away. Also a grey wagtail in the Dene this evening

Got another first for me today. Quite a difficult one to capture - wrong lens and it kept shouting at me and I kept telling it to stop hiding and pose nicely. In the end, I think it agreed to pose if I'd leave it alone to find food.
Dare I say 'chuffed' ? (and I know I spelt it incorrectly!)
