phal, where are you? If in the UK, it will be an otter in the sea, rather than a Sea Otter, which is a different species which we don't get here. (I've seen them in California).

She’s on a Norwegian cruise, J2R, so probably was a Sea Otter. Hope she got some photos of both.

Ness, no, they don't have them there either! Regular otters are often seen in the sea.

Sea otters are Pacific... so just European / Eurasian otter, in the sea!

Yes, my bad. ‘Just’ an Otter 😉
We’d realised the mistake when we put our clever heads on and that it wasn’t so big an Otter.
Bit like a gull being over the sea making it a seagull and a gull over land making it a landgull 😉
No photo of it Ness, but sighted through binoculars. Have spent an hour and a half with the ORCA rep doing a sea survey this afternoon. Results: no whales and got cold. Try again tomorrow! 😀
