Surelynot
A very smart-looking rook has been visiting my garden the last couple of days feeding on seed and other stuff on the lawn.

Just spotted a long tailed tit nest in my hedge. And the dunnocks are building a nest in a small box bush ball. Add to that, my use of the greenhouse is being limited by a nervous blackbird on 3 eggs. We are just about co-existing. It may be going to be too warm by the time the chicks are hatched. I'm still waiting for swallows, certainly not expecting swifts for weeks. A cuckoo would be nice. |

I've never seen a cuckoo to the best of my knowledge. Heard one a couple of times on one of our mountain walks, but not for a couple of years. Might try that walk in a couple of weeks and see if I get lucky
