I thought I had a swift up on the moors earlier this week, but only a fleeting glimpse through the cloud and mizzle so can't be sure. Definitely none down in the valley any more.

Brief view of what I thought was an Osprey this morning when out running and it turns out there was certainly one around an hour or so earlier. Apparently it was getting harrassed by a juvenile Peregrine which is currently chasing everything and anything with little or no success. The Osprey apparently did catch itself a nice big trout for breakfast.
