Spring and autum being similar is the same reason you sometimes see the odd bit of blossom on trees at this time of year.

Saw a super in the park on Wednesday. First there in a few years. I've also noticed a lot of robins, which have been pretty much absent this year (in terms of me seeing them at least)

lots (well three so far today) of noisy skeins of geese overhead this morning and ............

"my" robin has disappeared. He/she was waiting for me every morning but no sign now for four days :(
