We’ve had a report of Wood Warblers local to us, about a mile from the house.

Saw some swallows diving in and out of barns this morning. This afternoon there were a couple of shelduck wandering along the pebble beach I was walking along. Also saw what looked like humming birds hovering in a meadow. We finally came to the conclusion that they were sparrows, never seen that before.

Curlew and skylark on the hill run yesterday. Love running with people that know their birds. Adds an extra dimension to the run. G
