bonners
I was chuffed to bits, we get between two and four each year but I've never seen them before, always in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The waxwing appeared on our apples at least five times today. It gave my parents a good view

Snow Buntings bonners...just great! Blackbird singing regularly, Song Thrushes too of course. Coal, Blue, Great and Long Tailed Tits daily in garden but nothing much exciting. Catkins dripping from trees along my running route are a bit earlier than the last couple of years. |

I was cycling along a road near the sea this morning and 2 oyster catchers were wandering along the road and grass verge, a seagull seemed to be tap dancing on the grass and a pied wagtail was running around a bit further on.

Is it too early for song thrush singing? I enjoyed listening to a loud beautiful repetitive song as I jogged along the Rodwell trail yesterday & thought I knew what it was but looking at the rspb website made me wonder. We too have tap-dancing gulls so funny. |
