Beautiful run this morning, glorious weather and a view of the Wall from Game of Thrones. Also buzzard, lots of flitty brown birds and two hares.

Family of greylag geese this morning, two parents with six small gosling. I was surprised to see them in my village, never seen them before, they were just wandering along the main road and dicing with the traffic, I managed to get the traffic to stop before they got squished crossing over. There were going in the wrong direction for the beck and the river though.

No three eyed ravens today. One cross eyed cow if that counts?

Trying to watch TV, but failing due to the ongoing comedy show in the garden.

The starling youngsters have arrived, about 12-15 so far I think. Cue flying into windows, chasing of parents, comedy bath time, mistaking the blackbird fledglings for parents, head butting the ground feeder, etc..

They are just endlessly fascinating. The other birds like the Robins, goldfinches and tits are sneaking in when they can. It is like the chavy teenagers have moved in.
