Had a good trip with the local RSPB group to North Cave and Bempton. Avocet, reed warbler, sedge warbler, shoveler, tufted duck, shelduck, brambling, redshanks, gadwall, ringed plover, kestrel, red kite, gannet, razorbill, kittiwake, guillemot, fulmar, meadow pipit, corn bunting to up my count for the year by quite a bit. First time ever seeing a few of these as well.

Great to see Nottingham isn't the only place around with peregrines becca, I'm envious because I've never seen a brambling |

Good haul becca, I really should write down what I see (and can identify) when I'm out and about but as soon as I sit down in front of the computer my mind goes blank.

Thanks. Brambling was a first for me and only saw it at the last moment while waiting to get back on the bus. I have a list of what I've seen this year. I have an aim to get to 200 but that really depends on how many I can see when I go abroad to do marathons, I think. |

Reed bunting still visiting our bird table. Dunnocks doing some sort or posturing on the fence. |
