From memory (not checking back to the docs) - it was 57 individuals, about 70% of those doing the Via Ferrata, and typically in groups of 8/9 (from max of 12 per group of VF)
I didn't spot numbers for the mid way joining - that presumably is additional?
(but who would go all the way there for 30 secs zipping? or even aerial flighting ?)

The midway joining is aimed at less mobile visitors who wouldn't do the Via Ferrata - such as children or those who are less physically able.

Business plans are only a projection, and, like most plans, have a habit of being revised when coming face-to-face with the real world.

How close to capacity is the Via Ferrata currently running? Is this to make the whole "experience" more popular - or is it pretty much fully booked already?

pressed submit too soon -
appeal for funding to replace the trig point on Blencathra.

Why it isn't funded automatically?

I suppose it's up to the Earl of Lonsdale to decide whether he can afford to shell out for a new trig point, and since he was skint enough to try to sell Blencathra a few years ago ...
