flanker Aug 2018 4:19pm, 6 Aug 2018 17,743 posts	0 flanker Thanks for the pointers to Burns Farm campsite. Did the job nicely; views from the tent of Skiddaw and Blencathra (summits included ;-)), friendly staff, reasonably considerate co-campers and sensibly priced. We'll be back soon.

mr d Aug 2018 11:49pm, 6 Aug 2018 3,069 posts	0 mr d Brother in law (good fell runner) turned up with burns from a camping gas canister accident, unlikely to run far this week. Wife’s cousin (keen walker) has infection, on antibiotics, told not too walk this week. I will either be nipping out for a run ( like Skiddaw) or with kids and pensioners (both of whom are actually faster than me) for a walk. So it’s up in the air.

I recall it was the week before the UTMB and I was meant to be supporting Bobs on the Tour of Skiddaw. I ended up gossiping with your support team and missing her at Latrigg, something she likes to bring up every now and again
