SimonF wrote: @Gromit I wonder if you're the only people to finish a round on the Wasdale Red Pike? It also occurred to me that it was an unusual fell upon which to complete a Wainwrights Round. Are you going to register your completion with the LDWA recorder Gromit? They will send you a certificate and they also record which was your last fell. They also keep the records for the Birketts, Synges, Fellrangers and Nuttalls. |

We most likely will register the round yep 👍 it’s funny the “last one” choice got changed so many times over the years … for a long time it was going to be catsycam , but living over 2 hours away has meant that holidays and weather have dictated which ones have got done when and we’re left with the awkward to get to Wasdale valley ones … as it turned out it was nice it was the same day as the champs fell race so we got to see the entire field on Pillar.

I enjoyed Richard Askwith's piece on Joss Naylor in Runners World. Worth a read, I'd say. runnersworld.com |

Can you put me up to 86 please Martyn? Just had a late afternoon walk around the Coniston fells and finished off the ones I hadn’t logged, did repeats on the ones I already logged and ticked off a few non Wainwrights. |
