Did anyone watch 'The Lakes with Simon Reeves' last night? I was prepared for more of the usual guff, but felt that it gave a really balanced view of real life in the Lake District especially for places like Barrow and for hill farmers. Looking forward to the next programme 😀

Yes, I watched it too. I was expecting something entirely different that what we got and liked the focus on the local communities, a proper warts and all commentary. Some great footage too, we were playing spot-the-fell. What a place Black Sail YHA is, the room he stayed in was the same one we used for SimonF's birthday a few years back. Hope to go back there one day.
