It's compulsory entertainment on a weekend RH 😀 there were at least 5 attempts out on Friday. 4 CW and an ACW. Of the those 4 were successful. Conditions were fantastic, dry and clear, not too hot or cold just a little blustery overnight. Apart from less daylight it was pretty much as good as you'd get at prime time (May/early June).

His tracker failed. He completed successfully according to a post I saw on fb.

Well, despite the bracken dying back I can announce that the bloody ticks are still alive and well. Seems I brought three of the little swines back with me from Ennerdale, not discovered until around 11pm last night. One was tiny and on my right bum cheek, I'll leave it to your imagination how much fun Bobs had getting that one off for me :-)

Ticks is one thing I seem to avoid - I've had one. Which I got at the 2015 JK in lakes and the orienteering at Bigland was very much "off-path:" jk.routegadget.co.uk

The midges on the other hand tend to eat me alive. I've got a lovely rash on my right hip from being bitten about 8 times in a very small space whilst playing cricket last thur.
