Nice mate, I would have liked to have gone but calf/achilles area is tender to touch and pretty painful to walk on. Few days rest I reckon...bollocks!

great 15 this morning,i am also glad there was a light covering of snow as a 15 miler in icy conditions would have just been asking for trouble, tizer sorry to here your injury has got worse plenty of rest and hopefully it will ease of shortly.really cold, going up the town tommorrow to get a set of long running pants.

Please get long running trousers/tights, don't really think long running pants will be that attractive Sorry your have an injury Tizer that is not good, but at least it isn't the best conditions out, so a good time to have a rest if you have to. But I get it because no one likes to be out ever! Even slow coach me p.s. I ran a marathon today |

Thanks. I have tried to map what we did on mapmyrun, I am quite rough with mapmyrun so obviously I have cut the roads short as it doesn't quite say 26.2, but the garmin did, so I am still counting it This is the link to the route mapmyrun.com Nice an scenic with some undulation, but mostly flat, but the view are good so the small bobbles are worth it. Did a lap nearly the end, decided it was best for me to be close to home with the option of being able to stop it I wanted. As soon as the pressure is off I am a bit better. Hope you are not out for too long. |

Cheers, route looks reasonably flat. Reckon I'm going to do a 26.2 training run in march so might use that one. Injury seems to be better today. Still niggling a bit but not sore up and down the stairs. More ice and rest just to make sure. Desperate to get out and this only day two. Canned the cambuslang 10k on 27th so will might do the club race instead if I'm back running by then
