30.27 for my fake parkrun this afternoon. I have a good excuse for such a poor time though. I tripped over on a public bridleway. The cow parsley was waist high & I lost the line of the path. Next thing I know, I'm actually laying in the cow parsley. Still, nothing broken, bent out of shape & not a drop of blood spilt.

Sorry, I haven't done one of these for a while. I had an incident with my ankle and have been slowly stepping it up since then. Managed a 5k in 30:30 yesterday, which is slow for me, but gives me something to aim for at the weekend.

Fake parkrun # 52 done around the Hanley course. Quickest one since March, still room for improvement but pleased with that.

Well done Sigh. I’ve been up in our paddock earlier, where we did our multi-lap fakies last spring. Happy memories of tear-arsing round and round throwing cloths pegs in a basket after each lap :-)

35.55 for my fake parkrun this morning.

Our eldest daughter is down from Cambridge for a long weekend & ran with me up the river bank & across the Kingston Gap. I kept stopping to point things out to her. Due to covid, she's only been down to visit us once since we moved, so she doesn't know the area at all.

In true parkrun fashion, we finished at the cafe in the village & had a coffee.

A very ploddy 37:39 this morning, slightly hay-feverish and with a minor right knee twinge. Got the run done anyway.
