Just done one this morning. Nice to get chatting to random parkrunner about restarting. I'm still slower than I ought to be but I'm sure will be better when I'm back in the pack...

Local (Chelmsford and District) league is about to restart, and the third team captain turned up to the Thursday coaching group which thus turned in to a bit of a trial session.

I was a third team regular before all the covids, but I think I’ll struggle to get in the team this summer.

We should start putting out a fourth team for the winter league. Got to be careful not to get lumbered with captaining it.

34:36 on a not-quite-compliant town course where however traffic was not an issue and still managed to have 4 km away from roads.

A jaded 34:26 today. humid here in Wiltshire too. Glad to get out for a run though.
