25.19 for my fake parkrun this morning. I'm rather pleased with that, as the wind was really strong & I chose a bit of a lumpy route. The sun is quite strong as well today.
Lovely views of the South Downs from Highdown Hill as I plodded up there.

Scraped under 40 minutes. Struggling at the moment. Mercifully did it earlier in the week as had second AZ jab yesterday and feel fairly rubbish today. Fortunately experience with first jab suggests I'll be fine in the morning.

Brings back memories.
I lived in Angmering in my formative years, I remember going up there to watch The Flying Scotsman during it's tour of Britain.
And then in the seventies a route from Palmers Road Rec to the top of Highdown and back was part of our weekly pre-season football training.

34:51 on an actual parkrun course for me. Sun shining again, park busy: but as the route is mainly in the woods, it was largely uncongested. Happy with that as a second effort on consecutive days.
And we arrived at the time where the sun had properly come out but there was still parking available - not the case when we left.
