I’ll make my mind up about the saddle after I’ve ridden to work and back! I’ve bought some padded shorts, but will reserve the right to keep the saddle from my old bike if necessary before I give it to a local cycle project.

I used to use a pressure cooker quite frequently in the 70s, but not since; can't remember what happened to it. Undoubtedly they will have Moved On since then.

We won at a quiz night....maybe not that exciting, but this is an annual event with the same team every year. This year in May one member of the team collapsed while out on his bike, had a cardiac arrest and was assisted by a passer by. He has made an excellent recovery and cognitively is as sharp as ever..... If he hadn't been we wouldn't have won. A very special victory.
