Do you not pay by direct debit?

With SO (I think that's who Hann uses), when you pay by direct debit you don't get a credit back a few days later - the £67 appears on your bill as a plus along with whatever you have paid in. My bill is due in a few days, I'll keep an eye out for it!

Same happens with me with eon but it sorts itself out over time.

I still don’t understand my eon bills. They don’t appear to be billing me for gas. The bills I get only mention electricity. I submit meter readings every month, but they only seem to use estimated figures.
I can see that my smart meter plug in thingy which tells me how I’ve used each month gives me an amount for both fuels. My bill never seems to match this and the app / website / pdf bill get only ever mentions electricity. They can’t show my gas usage and the bill never mentions gas.
But the £134 figure for January (the highest it’s been so far and to think that they wanted my direct debit to be £155 when I was £300 in credit) from the smart meter is definitely for both as the meter goes up really quickly when I have the central heating on!
I’m at a bit of a loss really as to what to do. Contacting them is useless and if I was able to switch to another provider I would just to get a more understandable breakdown on the bill. Must submit readings and pay what I owe them tomorrow. I never pay the estimates. Once ambient temperature in the house is above 15 the heating will be going off again. I think I use a lot less central heating than a typical house so would much rather pay as I go.

Better than what I had when I first moved here. I was billed for gas. We don't have gas here. Took ages to sort out and get a refund...
I will keep a look out for the £67. If for whatever reason it arrived late, it may come in February?

Fields, have you checked the meter serial numbers are right?

Presumably there’s a number on my meter should be displayed on my bill?
No, but I’ll have a look when I go to read the meter outside tomorrow

I don't understand when you say you're going to submit a reading Fields? If you've got a smart meter they're reading your meter every 5 minutes! Weird that they can bill you right though? G
