Nicki, I can't think of any railings off-hand (as the ones that are there are on the wrong side of the road), but we might be able to tie balloons to someone's wall? Not sure though... I might go and investigate once this downpour has finished (which might well not be before next week...). Otherwise, we can just wear Fetch colours and make a noise - I'm sure that'll do.

Just a suggestion - you could get a train through to Prestonpans and it's a 10 minute walk down Ayer's Wynd to *old* Fetchpoint.

I'll be a one-man Fetchpoint in Cockenzie High Street, at least until the kids start looking like they're going to lean too far out the living room windows.

Weean, long shot, but do you own a Fetch hoodie and were in Musselburgh on Sun, 28th April? I was all dazed after my longest ultra the day before, so when I saw a Fetchie walking home, I didn't register at first that it wasn't as common on the streets in Musselburgh as it is during a race. Considered shouting out, but was too tired (and potentially embarrassed). Just clicked on your profile though and the person could have been you?

Ok, Casa Spicey then. :-) For all runners: this is about 8.2 miles into the course, just near the first relay changeover point. Exact location (e.g. side of road) to follow so you know where to look out for us.

Can I just say: I'm happy to stand there, offer my flat to Fetchpointers for pit stops (erm, need to speak to flatmates first, but should be fine) etc, but please don't anyone mistake me for the official organiser. :-)
