As there seems to be a handful of us spectating now, McNewbie, SpicedApple and Duchess to name a few....there may be a possibility of a small Fetchpoint around the 11 mile mark

Old Mum and Ellem will also be there.
Are you sure that's where you want it to be, Nicki? (No public transport there, see other thread, but should hopefully be ok by car.)
As I've said, peronally I'd prefer after around 8.3 miles - but will go with the majority.

Oh did I get it wrong?
I don't mind where it is....I thought you lived near 11
Happy to go whoever so long as I know how to get there and whatever folk think is best, as I don't know the area

Since you don't know the area, I shall let you off for thinking I lived *there*.
Casa Spicey and first relay changeover point are at 8.2 miles.
Prestongrange Museum, which Duchess suggested, is at 11 miles.

I see
I can leave London Road before the start which is at 9.50am to ensure we are in place for evyone to see who they are supporting...
Will there be anywhere for us to tie balloons to Spicey?

My 11 mile suggestion doesn't work with th road closures. So it's either Casa Spicey at 8 or the "old" Fetchpoint spot in Prestonpans.

Well is Spicey is going to be at home anyway can I suggest we do it there?
Easier to run I to the finish too...Jonny No Fetch will have finished in 3 hours, so I don't want to keep him waiting too long!

If it's Prestonpans (12 miles), we'll have to think about transport as no public transport there on the day (unless buses are re-routed rather than suspended on the 26 this year - can't seem to find any info on their website yet). Parking won't be a problem though.
