[Oh Scalli, that is very tempting as I am even going to be in Scotland that weekend and am planning to come down to watch. I know when I see everyone I will be wistful. But I am signed up for another marathon on 6th June and know I cannot do two in a row.]

I know transfers aren’t allowed and the implications of running in someone else’s number but I am after a Half marathon bib – I have a full bib and due to injury and EMF being unhelpful and being all about the money I couldn’t officially swap. I’ve invested a lot of money already in travel and accommodation and with all my friends going as well, I shouldn’t be running the full but as am a runner and stupid I don’t want to miss out.
If anyone is feeling generous it would be much appreciated
(If I can get a Half number, then my Full number will be available)

You could always run the HM with your full number Not sure if it would work or if they would notice and then sanction you so don't take that as any kind of advice.

Thanks for the suggestion but I would assume my chip is registered to the Full so it will end up showing me completing the full marathon at record pace. Although I would get my T-shirt, Good Bag and a good day out, I might end up drawing attention to myself and being the posterboy on The Marathon Investigations website
