Target time is sub. 3:15 at Edinburgh, got Lochaber in a couple of weeks time where I'm aiming for 3:18.
Current PB is 3:21 & think both targets are achievable.

Had you have asked a couple of weeks ago i'd have had an idea but since then i've picked up a niggling knee injury which has knocked my training right out. Currently not running for the rest of this week and see where i am after that.
Hopefully it clears up soon and i'll get back to regular weekly training rather than taking days off to allow the knee to calm down.
Thinking you'll both be good for sub3.15.. best of luck guys:)

I may add having beer and pizza afterwards to my goal. Lots of Fetchies did the race last year with times from elite afleets to us tortoises so it would be good to grab a pint of black sheep with folks after if anyone is hanging around?
Right, I am going to be the first to mention it! Friend tells me the long term forecast is still piss poor for April and a cool May is supposedly on the cards, hope so after the sun burn through factor 50 sunscreen that left me with white marks where garmin and wrist band had been until November:)

I managed to give away my marathon place but still haven't got a place in the half if anyone knows any spare places please let me know. If I can't get a place I will try and come out to cheer anyway!

jacs, I'm definitely hoping for some cool May weather on the 26th. I did a 7.5 mile race on the day of the marathon last year and it was hellish - can't imagine doing 26.2!
Do people meet in Musselburgh or back in Edinburgh?
