1:30:55 for me at Alloa today, slightly outside target time but pretty pleased overall where I'm at ahead of 2013 marathons.

Cammy - what kind of time do you do your 10 mile training runs in?

Donaldo- 10 miler in training varies but always try to do under 1:15, target MP would have me around 1:13:30 to be precise.
Why you ask?

Nice runs at Alloa guys...managed a pb myself there on sunday which was a surprise, a good one though!!
More racing this week so only the midweek long miles again but next week should be high on milage as i plan on 3long runs. Less than 10 weeks to nail this training cycle ready to beast the course. It's going to come round sooner than i'm ready no doubt..
Is it too early to start talking about weather conditions yet?

Cammy - thanks - it's because I am training but not racing and was wondering if I might be ready for a 1:30 half. My most recent 10 mile training run was 72 mins but I did push it a bit.

anyone else having training hit by the weather? My long run route has been out of business for the past couple of weekends due to the snow and ice (I won't run on it because I can't afford to be off work if I slip and break something!) and I have been reduced to running at the gym on the treadmill for a while now. My mileage is well down on last year and I am getting worried with more snow forecast this weekend, I have even been considering buying a treadmill so I can jump on and do a few miles whenever the chance arises.

Hellish 20 miler this morning with the first 10 miles from Dunblane towards Auchterarder - was exhausted by that time and found it really tough on the way home, despite the helpful wind at my back. 2:37, not too bad.
