Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

A rise in inflation announced this morning, i'd heard there was an expectation it might drop to 9.9%, which wasn't much but would have been a small step in the right direction.

Lots more interest rate news this week to come, strap in!

That's a surprise. I thought it was supposed to be dropping now that gas price bubble had moved through. Guess there's a lag on a lot of goods, hence prices still rising in shops?

Suggestion interest rate rises might slow somewhat due to baking sector concerns?

The article suggests less discounting in February than previously and a continuing rise in food and drink costs.

I think the Fed are announcing their interest rates today and UK tomorrow, given the recent banking sector issues rises are likely to be smaller or postponed i read
