Is anyone else disappointed with the free-to-air NFL coverage? The BBC still do their Saturday preview/review show with Osi/Jason/Mark but the midweek highlights show seems to have disappeared. Ch 5 are showing live Mon night football but I won't be sitting up to watch it and may record it occasionally. But the Ch 5 'NFL Endzone' show is a pile of shite. Fronted by a whiney American and 'helped' by a UK footballer called 'Chelcee' (really?), neither of whom have any NFL experience as far as I can see, it's the worst kind of inconsequential fluff - big on pointless non-stories and low on actual game action. For what it was worth, I tweeted the NFL, NFL UK, Channel 5 & NFL Endzone to let them know I wasn't impressed with their offering.

The Union-Tribune sports desk is an odd and seemingly bitter place. Apart from (rightly) lauding the Padres’ good season, their biggest joy seems to be kicking the Chargers and Clippers. It’s only two hours to SoFi, for pity’s sake. It’s not like the Chargers moved to London (alas). And the Clippers moved nearly 40 years ago.

Thanks for the warning re the Channel 5 show WtnMel. To be expected from that channel!
BBC coverage last year was adequate, one show a week is, well, weak.
Should be able to enjoy MNF on Tuesday evening without knowing the result.

While not fully free to air Sky Sports Mix on 416 is showing Redzone on a Sunday night. I’ve got it without having full Sky Sports. They did show the Thursday night game as well.
